Promotion Terms & Conditions

The “first wire free” and the “higher exchange rate on first wire” promotion applies only to a “Qualifying Remittance,” which means a remittance that is: (1) created from an account that you registered/opened for the first time with Intermex after the current date of this promotion; and (2) the first remittance originated with your new account. 

Under the “first wire free” promotion, Intermex will waive the customer fee for the first Qualifying Remittance.  All other standard rates and fees shall apply to the Qualifying Remittance.

Under the “higher exchange rate on first wire” promotion, Intermex will provide a higher exchange rate from the non-promotional exchange rate calculated at the time you initiate your transaction. The pre-submission transaction screen will show the non-promotional exchange rate and the promotional exchange rate for your comparison. 

Depending on the destination of the remittance, you may be eligible for either the “first wire free” or the “higher exchange rate on first wire” promotion. Only one promotion will be applied to your first remittance originated with your new account. Intermex makes money on the exchange rate, which includes a spread that varies per transaction.

Intermex reserves the right to limit the number of individuals per household eligible for this Promotion. Intermex also reserves the right to disqualify transfers that, in its opinion, are intended to circumvent Promotion rules, or are deemed to be abusive. Any attempt by a customer to abuse this Promotion by using multiple/different identities, registrations, logins, and/or any other methods will void and disqualify the customer from receiving the Promotion at Intermex sole discretion.

Intermex reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time, with or without prior notice. Any qualifying transfer will be honored if initiated prior to the Promotion’s cancellation.

The Promotion and any respective offer code has no cash value and cannot be transferred.

Intermex is the final authority on the Promotion and the interpretation of this Promotion Terms and Conditions. 

You may not participate in the Promotion where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law, statute, or regulations.

Your participation in the Promotion is also governed by and subject to Intermex’s Service User Terms and Conditions, which can be found at https://www.intermexonline.com/user-agreement-terms-conditions#/ and other terms and notices made available on our service.

Intermex reserves the right to void any offer redemption that appears to be fraudulent, results from a fraudulent transaction, or is not compliant with Intermex’s Service User Agreement.

This Promotion is provided and operated by Intermex Wire Transfer, LLC; Intermex Wire Transfer, Corp.; and Intermex Wire Transfer II, LLC, jointly known as “Intermex” and is only offered to residents of the United States of America. Intermex is licensed as a Money Transmitter by various states.
