Intermex closed on the acquisition transaction of Servimex Inc. a Miami based money transmitter company. Servimex has provided money remittance services to Latin-America since 1995.
August, 2006 - Acquisition closing
The acquisition of Intermex by Lindsay Goldberg & Bessemer closed on August 6, 2006. Banc of America Securities LLC acted as exclusive financial advisor to Intermex Wire Transfer, LLC, with respect to the transaction. Intermex was represented by the Miami law firm of Bilzin Slumberg Baena Price & Axelrod, LLP.
March, 2006 - Intermex Wire Transfer, LLC acquisition by LGB
Lindsay Goldberg & Bessemer (LGB) www.lgblp.com , a New York-based investment partnership, has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority ownership position in Miami’s Intermex Wire Transfer, LLC, one of the leading processors of money transfer services focused on Latin America in the United States.
